The handle I started working on in this thread is done. Not finished, but done.
This is when I decided to stop fussing and start sanding. Of course, after sanding I decided to fuss more in a couple areas.
This is how it is all done, ready for finishing.
I'm going to use a light coat of Bush Oil on either end and between the innermost parting tools grooves (what're these things called?) is going to be a test bed for a surface treatment I'm thinking of doing. I'm going to try applying a light coat of acrylic paint (Golden brand artist grade fwiw). It will be a very light coat because I want the grain to remain visible. I'll discuss this surface embellishment in more detail as I progress in this thread.
