    Ambrosia Maple Bowl

Here is a ambrosia maple bowl I finished. It is 7 1/2" across and 2 1/4" deep. I finished this one with Antique Oil. It has some worm holes in it so will make a good popcorn dish.

Thanks everyone. Royall the ambrosia maple has been infected by a beetle (ambrosia beetle I believe) and leave the dark lines in the wood. The dark strips at the end and the two that run thru the bowl are the caused by the beetle.

    Hi,

Great bowl. Just think the "poppies" can fall into the worm holes instead of being crunched by the teeth of the eater.

    Enjoy,

Nice again Bernie. Tell me something. Do you folks in Kansas have 48 hour days? I can't believe how productive you are.

I don't remember any when I grew up in KS, but your right Bernie has bee turning them out.
