Laguna Driftmaster Install Walkthrough on my Mini Max MM20

    Second walkthrough of the week.

This one is on installing the Laguna Driftmaster on my MM20.
Thanks to Guyk, and John for helpful advice and info as I planned out my install.

Nice install. Should make a big difference in using the saw.

One comment, though: It looks like the crank handle comes so close to the edge of the table so as to be a real potential 'knuckle buster.' Is it really that tight a clearance, or is it just the photo angle? Just curious.

    Mike,

Nice fence. I'm so sick of mine I could scream! Course, I'm thinking just your fence is worth more than my whole saw!

If I ever get a good one, I'll now have some guidance for the fence install, thanks to your pics...

    Thanks,

    Bill

    Bill,
Not sure what you've got for a saw, but the Kreg fence - at around a hundred bucks on sale - is pretty good. I have one on my 14" saw.

    Jim,

Yup, that seems to be the aftermarket lots of people get. The one I have now never locks down well, locks down differently each time, and has no microadjust. So I get it close, try to lock it down, whoops, it moved, try to lock it down again...

I realize it's not a precision tool, but geez...

    Thanks,

    Bill

Anyone try the Carter magnetic fence or the MagSwitch fence setup for resawing?
