    Donation for Public TV Auction

This last week, I make two pieces for our local public TV's annual Art auction.

While doing them, I decided to do something differently in my finish.

Here they are for your comments. I'm especially interested in what you think of the grain pop and the overall appearance.

    Attachment 30921

    Aeromatic Cedar 6" diameter X 3" high

    Attachment 30922

    Ash 7" diameter X 3-1/2" High

    Sand through 4000 Grit

    Buff with Tripoli compound

    Buff with White Diamond compound

    Buff with Carnuba Wax

    That's all!

Total work time for finish 1Hr.

Thanks for looking and I appreciate your comments.

Nice job, Bruce. I like the look of polished (but otherwise unfinished) wood. Hard to tell much about the ash bowl, as the picture is pretty small, but the cedar sure shined up nicely.

Sounds like someone got a Beall Buffing System!
God and family, the rest is icing on the cake.

I'm so far behind, I think I'm in first place.
