    Thanks for the link. I've played with Bill's software before, and it looks very handy. I haven't tried building anything by following it yet, but seeing the results he gets, I suspect it works.

    Not yet, just found it today, but I will. Looks like it should be good for putting ideas to paper, something to help the transition from concept to actual

    Boy this software is amazing. I cannot believe its for free. All the turners out there this is a must.

    Added this after looking at his site.

    Have you guys seen the work this guy does. Its utterly amazing. I am stunned. This has been a shocker day. So many WOW pieces have come to light.

    I have been playing with it and it is some great software. You can do some interesting things with it.

    Darn. Doesn't seem to work on Ubuntu... rats. Can't get the JRE to install...

    I'm running Ubuntu studio in a virtual box window. To install the JDK, this worked for me:

    sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jdk sun-java6-plugin

    or can install the JDE:

    sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jre sun-java6-plugin

    Thanks for the command. It worked! I've still got a problem with mousecapture on the virtual machine, but I've only been running Ubuntu a couple weeks, so I'm still getting used to it...
