Looks like a good saw for a nice price. I looked at that one pretty closely the last time it was on sale for this price. My little Delta CMS is only accurate enough for cutting framing lumber, but I do so few crosscuts that I can't justify the extra expense right now. I just use the tablesaw with a sled or miter gauge instead. If the piece is long, I'll cut to rough size by hand, then do the final cuts on the TS.

When I do break down and get a better miter saw, it'll hopefully be a slider, and Hitachi will be up around the top of the list, too.
 
Yea, I saw that, it's been on sale quite a bit lately, and I keep sayin I'm gonna get it next time it goes on sale. I ought to just pull the trigger and buy it. I just can't figure out a place for it in my shop:(
