Some of you might find it interesting

Hi there, I'm not a turner but I came across this page and these Banksia nuts and I thought that could be of interest to any of you.

I you already knew about, please disregard

    Hi Tony,

Banksia nuts are intriguing and attractive and hard to resist buying on first encounter.

How many people have turned two Banksia nuts? I think they are a gift to turners from the Devil.

Thanks Tony, haven't seen that site before. I like to mark sites like this for future reference.

My parents taught me to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder to find any.
If you go looking for trouble, it will usually find you.

    Yeah Tony, once!

I couldn't stand the dust and itchy stuff that covered me. Saying that, some people produce lovely pieces and I'm a bit jealous of them because I still find the Banksia nuts an attractive proposition.

I tried turning swiss cheese once - it didn't turn out quite as nicely.
