    Lidded Boxes

    Made with Caragana. Finished with 1 coat of BLO and 2 coats of Minwax Satin WOP.
    The one on the left measures 3-1/4" Tall x 1-7/8" OD x 1-13/16" ID
    The one on the right measures 3" Tall x 1-9/16" OD x 1-1/2" ID

    Comments and or suggestions are appreciated.

    Very nice, I love the wood.

    Nice work, Les. I'd never heard of that wood. Very interesting-looking wood. According to Mr. Google, it looks like some type of Siberian crab apple?

    I think Les may have misspelled Caragana which is a shrub often used as a hedge. Correct me if I'm wrong, Les.

    I thought it was cowhide at first glance I suspect it's this.

    Certainly is unusual and looks good.
