Wood Three-Number Combination Lock designed by Tim Detweiler.
Body measures 4-1/2" H X 4-1/2" H.
Made using Maple, Pine, Aspen, Red Mahogany and Baltic Birch plywood for the tumblers.

As always comments and or suggestions appreciated.

That's very cool, Les. I'd never heard of Tim, but I see he's got a book available about making wooden locks. Great stuff. :thumb:
 
Very very neat. Glad you put the toonie in the picture it gives an idea of scale.

I bet any locksmith with a store would love to have that on display. What a great talking point.

You know after I posted this reply I went back and looked at it again. Its a great piece of work in fact I would go so far as to call it art. You can look and look and look again. An just marvel at the whole thing.

Any chance we could see a picture of the mechanism?
