    2 for 1 Straightedge Clamps

Just got a note from Peachtree about a 2 for 1 sale on their 36" straight edge clamp. Dunno how long the sale is on, but I figured I'd pass the word in case anyone is interested.

I got the same notice from Peachtree and have been trying to figure out exactly what they are for ..... ..... other than simply a straightedge.

You can use them as mini guided system with the accessories

I have a bunch that I just use as clamps, work great for applying edge banding and gluing up drawers or other small stuff.

Hey Tony. you can get a plate that rides in the groove on the clamp and mount a router or saw on the plate - sort of a poor man's Festool. Also the clamps lay low on the table so you can use them as a stop to hold a workpiece that you are sanding or handplaning.

My only problem with them is that you (or at least I do) have to fiddle with them a while to get them square to the table.

Yeah, a lot of the deals in this section of the forum are pretty short-lived.
