I haven't posted anything here in a while but I'm still turning...just not as hot and heavy as I was last year.

Here's some stuff I've done recently. The potpourri bowls are Redbud, Bois d' Arc and Walnut Root. The vase is Bois d' Arc and Walnut. The bowl is Aromatic Cedar.

Thanks for looking

Nive little collection there Cody. Over here they rckon those ceramic lids sell better than the pewter ones though I preder the pewter. Usually a good little earner at craft sales

Thanks for the comments, guys.

Vaughn, Bernie, the lids came from CSUSA. The pewter ones are potpourri bowl lids and the multi-colored one is what they call a "Cloisonne" lid.

Larry, the carving was done with a couple of Pfeil carving gouges. I got 10 gouges earlier this year to begin doing some serious carving on some of my projects...flat and round. Carving Bois d' Arc end grain is quite a challenge, I might add. The Walnut cut like butter.

Thanks again for the comments.
