Dining table progress

I'm swapping a cherry dining table for a professional painting of our Cavaliers (avatar). 40x78, inside tapers on the legs, simple bead detail on the aprons and the groove on the legs to cover up my boo-boo cutting the tapers.

Half the top is glued, the other in the clamps.

This is the 'innaugural' new, smaller shop project. And it's doing a good job of demonstrating how small the shop is. :(

when you make a table of that length and width, do you put a support in the center to prevent any sagging, or not necessary?
I put a center thingy in a longer table once and it actually caused the long aprons to sag in the middle. If I was going to do it again (and I'm not planning on it), I'd use two... one closer to each end rather than just one in the middle.
