    my 1 2 3 finish for cherry

this is the way i will be finishing out the 3 projects. 1 coat of boiled linseed oil, 3 coats of amber shellac, and 2 coats of clear shellac (i didn't get them out of order, i just didn't want to confuse larry ). in the pics are the backside of the piece that i finished, and the finished side.

If you looking to warm up the cherry , you can put the BLO on and set in the sun for a day or 3 before you add the shellac.

When you say shellac do you mean French polish? Or just just coating with straight shellac?
