    Yep. Git a lot of that. Some woods attract more than others. Dogwood, Redbud are real bad. I've tried lotsa things to get rid of them. Nothing really works 100% but moth balls seem to be a pretty good deterent.

    No one is going to like this, so get over it now, but the USDA did a study several years ago on freezing to kill bugs. For those of you who don't agree, try it first...I have and it works

    Problem is devoting the home deep freeze to large chunks of wood. Wifey might object to all that expensive meat going to waste.

    Only on one piece now! And I have a nice burn barrel.. Advantage to living in rural Missouri.. and it will burn...

    I am keep a close eye on the other pieces of wood...

    Nice powder - may keep some to fill cracks

    If the pieces are cut small enough to fit into a microwave, a short time cooking will do the trick
