This is listed on Craig's list. The item is in Little Rock, Arkansas. I have never heard of this old brand. And the combo table saw/jointer is new to me. Do y'all think his asking price is fair? Or should I forget?
<<"This is an antique Walker Turner Table Saw with a 6 inch jointer. It's probably 75 years old but still works. It would be great in a workshop but it too heavy to move from job to job. I've got $175 in it and that's what I'll take.">>

Frank,

I was looking for a WT when I bought my Yates-American. Great saws, with a classic look.

Good solid, with a fairly heavy cast table. Phase is something to watch, many of them are 3 phase. That could be a deciding factor for someone, IMO.

The other saw I was looking for was an Atlas/Clausing/DeWalt, those are very art decco looking, also excellent saws.

Finding my Yates-American was a no brainer, it is truely an industrial class saw, but the WT is a very capable saw and would have been able to do everything I wanted.
