Bandsaw Blade Sharpening?

ed, the "books" say you can put a 3/4" blade on the 14" saws........i`d stick with the 1/2" 3 tooth it`ll do ya` well.....tod

I use 3/4" on my Grizzly 14" and it does well for straight cuts. Was reccomended by Suffolk Tool. I think it is a 4 toother.
Local guys want 20 cents per tooth to sharpen. Cheaper to buy new. I hate waste but mine go into landfill anyhow.

Thanks Frank, The 1/2" blade seemed to do ok before I killed it, but I may take a shot with the 3/4". I would think for re-sawing, the wider blade would be better, though it may also be difficult to correct.
