    Scrollsaw work

    Here's a piece which I gave to my grandfather a couple of years ago Oak, of various thicknesses. 3/4 and 1/4 iirc.





    sam maloof wipe on poly for the finish, or possibly watco oil, I don't recall precisely.

    Pattern was from an old issue of Scrollsaw workshop. , or was it Wood, again, I don't remember off the top of my head.

    Nice piece Ned. I like the way different pieces overlap each other.

    I was admiring your little handwork, and noticed what you wrote.

    I dont want to alarm you Ned, but first its the hair.(too late to worry about that)
    Then its the mind, and you start forgetting things, or cant remember anymore.

    and then, well, its too sad to mention what usually goes third.

    I might be real thin on top, but my mind still works ok.
