well gang, today was a real work day here. had to run over to home depot to pick up the plywood for the lathe platform. the nice thing about both of these projects is that aside from the hardware and the plywood, the lumber was free. the bad thing was that even with compensating, i'll have to shim up a touch under one of the casters to get it to ride level. darned slightly twisty recliamed wood! oh well, back to the fun. the third bench went together pretty good, and will work just right for the sander and the planer. i did some rearranging on the one bench, and i can get the bandsaw and the shaper on it with minimal fuss. also, moved the belt/disk sander from the table saw bench to the other bench as well. with this move, i should be able to keep my planer/jointer on the table with the table saw. darned busy day!
