    Milk paint odor...

Every time I've burnished out a milk paint finish before oiling, its struck me that it smells just like cold McDonalds french fries. Kinda makes me wonder what they put in their frying medium

    Yuck!!

First three pages about smoking in a car with kids, now the smell of cold McDonald's french fries Not having a good morning

BTW, I think Mickie D's uses (or used to use) beef tallow as part of their oil mix. You could be on to something.

How about a pic of your milk paint project? I think it gives a really cool look!

    Hi Jesse,

Not much to look at yet, just a faceframe on a cabinet. I've got the doors built, but I'm waiting for hinges and drawer guides. I'll post a picture when it's a bit further along.

Funny, I thought you were going to say it smelled "Sour"

    Looking forward to the pics!
