WTB Porter Cable 690 Fixed Base

Anyone got a spare Porter Cable Fixed Base they're willing to part with? I've got one, but I want a second one to mount semi permanently under my router table. Thanks.

You didn't ask but my opinion is that the 690 is a bit under powered for a router table. It also may not be variable speed which is a good thing to have in a router table (most 690's are fixed speed).

    Mike,
it's a case of using what I have for now. and I'm only planning on doing some light usage. round-overs, rabbets, a little jointing. no big bits at this point.

I do have the vs version of the 690... the 693 I think it is.

    Thanks though!

I've used a 690 in a table for years. It's fine for about 95% of my needs.

Looks Like Jim found one in his shop, and it is on its way to me.

    Barry,
I've had my 690 in its case for years, and except for one project I've never needed a larger router. Thankfully at that time I had access to a 3 hp hitachi (along with the CMT rail/stile bit set).
