gotta strike when its hot

I found one board that was ambrosia, I called it spalted.....but it had the pin holes all along the colors.
These boards all have that one long line of color, but no pin holes.
Whatever it is, Im going to use it.

Well I sure can't tell you what it is, but if it was a Rosewood, it would be fairly heavy, hard and a maybe a little toward the oily side, or at least all the rosewood I've seen was like that. Whatever it is though, it really has an interesting grain and should make a beauty of a project of some kind.:thumb:
Interesting coloring on the oak, (may just be the picture), but the coloring looks like Red oak.
