Kiddie Adirondacks

Taking a lot of liberties with Allen's recent plans/drawings of his kid-sized Adirondack chairs, I made these two - one rocker, and one plain.

I used 5/4 decking boards (left over from the full sized chairs I made earlier this year). Full thickness for the legs and arms, and resawn to half inch thickness for the seat and back slats.

I delivered them to my Grand-niece & nephew (ages 1½ and 3) earlier this evening. Now, let's see if they can tear them up! :D:D

IM a huge fan of the chunky monkey look. Those are fantastic.
Ive used 5/4 decking on several adult chairs. (IM just too cheap to give out 5/4 decking because it adds on 15 bucks to a pair of chairs for me)
