The bowl is another piece of that "diseased" wood that a lady gave me... still have to get back over to her house to pick up the rest of the wood.. the bowl is just under 8" diameter x 3 inches high. Finished with a Sanding Sealer, sanded and then buffed with carnuba.
The second piece is a piece of cedar from the trees that Ft Louden electric took down before they fell on their power lines... the vase is just over 6 inches high x about 3 inches diameter at the lip... maybe 5 at the middle...
it was left raw, just buffed it with Carnuba... I find people like the smell of the cedar and everyone that came into my booth during the summer would pick up any cedar pieces and smell them..
