Hi all, well so much for the good news about the new job. Just recieved the call into the supervisors office yesterday and due to the government funding cutbacks to our education system they can't afford to support 10 positions and mine was one of the 10 that got axed and I have 20 more working days before I am back looking for work again. On the good side of things with Janet going into surgery next Tuesday I will be getting 10 of those workings days off still to be home to support Janet.

Hey Drew real sorry to hear this. I was hoping there was some change in the air on the jobs front when I saw your original post. Keep looking and keep positive..tough to do but its important. All the best with looking after the missus.:thumb:

I'm really sorry to hear about the job Drew, that sucks, but you sound like you got your priorities set straight, taking care of Janet is what is important. A job come and go.

Cheers!

Sorry about that Drew, but as it has been said already your priority now is Janet.
I wish everything will go fine and a speedy recovery to her.

Gee and I thought things couldn't get any worse. I was driving along today and my cell phone rang and with all the stress I stopped the company truck and put it in gear turned the engine off and stepped out to take some deep breaths and focus on the call. Well wheile I was talking the truck slipped gear and rolled back 10 ft into a parked car. Very little damage to the truck but the whole side panel of the Tibaron was crushed. Ok Just layed off wife going into surgery next week and this happens. I took the rest of the day off just to try to regain a small bit of my composur and accompany Janet to the hospital today for some pre surgery tests. The phone then rang and it was my sinus specialist informing me that my surgery for my sinus is scheduled for the week when I am suppose to be returning to work after Janets Surgery. Guess I will have to use up all my sick time right up to the last day. On the positive note while in the office explaing to my supervisor about the accident he told me that he is going to do all he can to get me back as soon as possible and that we are like a family and we take care of each other. It was one of the highlights of my day hearing that. It is just like being here with everyone Having the feeling of a huge family. I really do appreciate all the kind words and prayers more than I can fully express. Thanks

Dang, Drew. When it rains it pours, huh? You've got a lot of people pulling for you here and elsewhere, so here's hoping things brighten up soon for you and yours. It will get better. ;)
