So, my tribute to James Krenov was published today, on a site called New Verse News. Click the link to get there.
Doorlink sent it to the daughter of the tribute's subject. She sent back this nice note:
Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your husband's poem with us. As I read the words, I can picture my father's hands, the movement, and I can smell the woods that surrounded him always. I am deeply touched that your husband was inspired to write this graceful poem in my father's honor--I think he captured him beautifully! Please thank him for me, on behalf of the family.
