    box elder platter and bowl

    heres a shallow bowl or platter it's 10x1 3/4. also a natural edge box elder 7x 4 1/4. the finish on the bowl is blo with 3 coats laquer nocked down with steel wool. the platter is just laquer,wish i had just put laquer on the bowl as i like that look better.

    that first one stephen is great!!! i really like the stand yu have made for it an your picture takun on those is gettin better to..

    Both are beauties but I sure do like that platter.

    Thanks Larry i thought the stand was appropriate as bow season opened yesterday. I was hoping someone would notice i've been working on my pic taking

    Thanks Bernie i wish i hadn't put that blo on the bowl as i thought it looked as good or better till i put that on it. Owell live and learn.

    I think both of them look sweet, Steve. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite of the two. Great job on both. And yeppers, I noticed the antler stand (I like it) and the better pics.
