    Do you believe in ZEN?

I'm really too old to understand what ZEN is, but here's a ZEN pen.

It features a magnetic cap on the nib and the clip end.

The wood used was labelled as "Tulipwood Burl". Wiki describes Tulipwood as a species of Poplar.

It's finished with 10 coats of CA/BLO, then buffed, polished and waxed on a Beall buffer. The plating is 10K Gold.

The pen pic shows the pen as being a little stubby, but it measures a full 6".

It feels great to sell a pen,
It feels even greater to give one to a friend!

Mack, have never seen that pen kit. Could you please post pictures of it with cap off, cap on nib end? I am interested in seeing it as I can't visualize the cap in your picture. Beautiful pen.

God and family, the rest is icing on the cake. I'm so far behind, I think I'm in first place!

You did a fine job and got a terrific finish. And, that wood is certainly interesting.
Can't say the pen style suits my fancy. I have never bought the kit. Just don't look purty to me and looks like it might be uncomfortable to grip while writing.
