    Air Compressor "Intercooler" Question

I'm interested in adding an intercooler to my air compressor to reduce moisture before the air gets to the tank. I'll use a transmission oil cooler that comes with reinforced rubber hose to use for attaching it to an automobile cooling system. Since the hose is rated for temperatures encountered with transmission oil, will it be safe to use for the line from the compressor pump to the cooler?

What's the pressure rating on the cooler? Automotive transmission oil isn't under really great pressure when it routes through the cooler.

    It's tested at 300PSI.
