Thumbs up Fall has arrived in the desert

It realy has, been in the 60 at night and 80 during the day. The AC in my shop is set at 80 degrees and is not cycling on near as much as it didi a few weeks ago.

I spoke with my Mom last night from the north side of Phoenix and she confirmed as well. They normally don't go out there this early, but my grandmother hadn't been feeling well, so they got to experience the last of summer for a few weeks.

I hear that we may be getting some freezing weather by this weekend here.

While we have desert-like conditions here....it has been in the 30's at night the last week or so.....highs in the 60's.

    Don,

After working at the "National Reactor testing station" do you glow in the dark?

My wife was a control room operator at a nuke plant and I would tease her about the green/yellow glow around her in the dark.

    stay warm..
Remember the tea kettle - it is always up to its neck in hot water, yet it
    still sings!
