Appreciation Lunchen

The school where my wife works will be having their appreciation lunchen to honor the senior citizens in the community next month and I usually make some items to contribute for door prizes. I made four of the small cutting boards and three of the long french bread cutting boards. My wife adds some pot holders to go with them and then wraps them up pretty. I also made a purple and gold pen (dyed box elder burl) and a pen box/display stand to hold the pen. It was made out of ash and mesquite. The cutting boards go over real big, especially if the ladies get them.

Thats some nice looking work. I really like the pen case and the style is new to me..

The colors on the pen came out very nice, that concept could sure be used for school colors or cub scouts.
