    Interesting Drillpress table Idea

I found this picture while researching a drillpress table project. This was the only picture, nothing shown about the attachment to the drillpress, but I thought an interesting concept.

    Dan,
that looks like a project from either Wood or Shopnotes awhile back. IIRC the auxiliary table bolts to the stock table. Neat project!

That certainly is another dimension added to the mundane drill press table!

The horizontal portion is identical to mine which I built from a Wood Magazine plan years ago. The side panel looks like an interesting addition.

The vertical panel would work particularly well on a radial arm drill press, where the head can be extended/retracted (as well as tilted. I just may have to build one for my Shop Fox RDP.

Product No. 1101 from Peachtree. They have had this table at every show I have seen them in. You have to scroll down a bit: http://www.ptreeusa.com/drillPress_Acc.htm

Original article is in Feb. 1996 WOOD Magazine, issue #86. I can make it available if you like.

It'd be a nice way to drill holes in the ends of long pieces on a floor standing dP...
