    Gloat!

    Hi guys, this DC arrived this afternoon, I hope it will do a better job than my shop vac with my jointer, otherwise I'll be really dissapointed.

    The dust collector is the unsung hero of my shop. It's a bit like buying tires for the car, though - not the most exciting purchase to make, but very much worth it.

    No comparison even with my HF model. It is as others have stated, not the fanciest piece of equipment but oddly enough, it gets turned on more than any one other piece of equipment.
