I'm getting the Dungeon cleaned up a bit, as I have the editor from the DoPa magazine coming over tomorrow evening for a chat about a possible photo shoot (turning table legs!).
One thing I had on my list of stuff to do in the Dungeon, was to use the one solid stump of Ginko wood I had left to make a stand for my little anvil.
First thing I had to do was to flatten the bottom of the chunk of wood.
I used my router and some sticks.
I put a set of sticks on the sides of the chunk of wood, I had to make them level to each other...............
.........I used some winding sticks, simple and effective!!
I built a VERY simple little sled for the router, simple and effective.
I then used the router to make a socket for the anvil and used some lag bolts to hold it down.
Should be good to go, now I can make some more tools!
Cheers!
