    A carved candle holder

I carved this out of mahogany and then finished it with a coat of dark brown Briwax. It stands about 12" high and the base is about 7" x 7". It's mostly from Frederick Wilbur's "Decorative Woodcarving" book. Thanks for looking.

    Thanks all.

Tom- there is not another one and I don't know if there will be.
Mohammad- all the carving was with hand tools.
Bob- yes, it did take a while!

Way cool candle holders and carvings Charlie, one of the things I find most difficult when carving repetitive ornaments is making them equal as you did.
    Best regards,
