Don't forget to set your clocks back an hour

Unless you live in Arizona, Hawaii or Porto Rico. I think its tonight. I live in Arizona..

I set mine, but still think DST is silly... doesn't actually change time, just fools us into thinking we've saved an hour....

We always set the Bedside clocks first thing in the morning the day before DST changes... that way even if we totally forget to change any other clocks, the important one is changed!
There's usually more than one way to do it...

Does anyone know the real reason we do Daylight Savings?

I hate it, with a passion. What feels like sleeping in for an hour in the fall, is not justified by the horrid reality that you lose an hour in the spring.

You can find a long discussion of daylight savings time on Wikipedia.

The article goes into the history and the reasons for DST.
