legit or too good to be.......

    Anybody here ever used Swoopo?
    http://www.swoopo.com/
If legit, it allows a form of bidding and you can buy things like thousand dollar Nikon cameras for $20.00 to $50.00. Other items go similarly cheap.
The 'catch' is that you pay each time you enter a 'bid' and must buy certain amount of bid credits beforehand. I'm sure that is where they make their money.
Might be legit, but still has a funny smell IMHO.......

I agree Frank. That old saying if it sounds too good to be true it most likely is.

I think that funny smell might be warranted. You end up paying, regardless of whether or not you actually win the auction. I know you're not a big fan of Wikipedia, but this might be of interest:

Yeppers. Bad deal. Every time a 'bid' is placed the timer is reset. I guess that means it might never get 'sold'.
