Unfortunatly!!

the stressfull times and some of us with close connections to a few of the items posted recently, have caused some heated words and banter that this forum wasnt set up to tolerate.. yes we all have times when we need to vent but this forum isnt the place for it according to the rules that you the forum members have agreed to. we all sometimes tread on the thin line to voice our opinions at times, and we all need to try and avoid going there..we need to look at what we are about to post and think if its really worth it. do you want to make another member upset? cause of what yu or they may take from these words that are about to be posted.. we are here to be a family oriented forum that means (get along with each other) not pick fights or criticize some one or there beliefs. thanks for listening, and i hope we can continue on from here in a friendly family manner..

I understand that we all agreed to the coc when we signed up with this forum and we should abide by it. What I don't understand is why some people can start talking politics on an unpolitical post, get the original post deleted, and the trouble makers get a pass.

An apology means very little to me when I know that person would do the same thing again without hesitation.

When this forum started we wanted it to be a friendly place without the discorse other forum have turned into. Thats why the CoC was written.

You may not consider it political but it was controlversal enough that it offended many.
This is a woodworking forum so we need to keep it that way. If you want to have these kinds of discussion, why don't you take it to fox new or one of the other program where those type of posts are welcome.

just to add to what`s been said......

anybody who believes that the coc is not the type of document best used to govern this forum is able and encouraged to draft changes and put them up for discussion........if there`s enough interest we`ll hold a vote...(ya did register to vote right?)
this place is designed to be flexable but it does require the majority to agree on changes.

Nancy if it offends any of the memebers and causes discourse it is definitly family unfriendly.
