Displaying new post in only certain subforums

First, I'll admit I screwed up. Someone had posted the way to only search for new posts in selected subforums and I've been using it for a long time. But I had trouble with my browser and uninstalled it to re-install a different version. And in the process deleted that URL.

Can anyone give me that URL search string again, please? You specify the forum numbers that you want to search for new posts in the URL string.

    As an example:

You can also reverse the logic by swapping &exclude with &include and listing the forum numbers you want.

That's it. Thanks, Glenn. I should have stored that somewhere so I'd have it later. I will this time.

    Thanks again.

That string worked fine on Family Woodworking but it won't work on SawMill Creek. Any ideas why not? Both are VBulletin.

I got it. You just don't put the term "forums" in the string. So it's www.sawmillcreek.org/search.php?.....

Family Woodworking requires the term "forums".
