    Forget-Me-Not Bowl

I was challenged to turn something that I had not done before – something to push my comfort zone – and this is what I came up with.

Maple bowl, 8 ¾” diameter x 3 ¾” high, with a nice and thin undercut rim that was then drilled, burnt and inked with my version of Forget-Me-Not flowers. It was then sanded to 400 grit and topped off with several coats of gloss poly.

Very cool, Steve. Looks like your comfort zone just got a little bigger, eh?

Steve, to my eyes... although the flowers are indeed cute... well, my eyes think they'd like it better if the flowers weren't there. Honest opinion.

Steve you outdid yourself on this one. That is a real beauty. Love the flowers.

Oh and by the way you got me in trouble. The LOML says you can do that.
