    Bamboo

    With a Gold RT Streamline.
    Can't remember who gave me the Bamboo.
    Finished with 6 coats of Minwax Clear Gloss Poly
    As always comments and or suggestions appreciated.

    Looks nice, Les. I'm kind of surprised how little grain shows up. How was the bamboo to turn?

    Now with the bamboo, was it a typical 3/4" blank? Or was it a tube of bamboo you glued the brass into? That's really got a unique look!

    Never have seen a bamboo pen before Les and I like it, and per normal you did a great job with it, beautiful pen Les

    Bamboo

    Did know you could turn bamboo,learn sumpin new every day.OH YEAH beautifull work there

    Great pen, can you write Japanese with it

    Was it a glue up blank?

    I have some bamboo sitting down by the door to the Dungeon, it is a fairly common size and if I cut it up and then glued together a couple layers of it, I think you could get a pen blank out of it

    It was a 3/4" X 3/4" X 5" solid blank.
