    A corrugated board plant caught fire some years ago near where I live, in order to extinguish the fire they covered the paper reels (2,5tons, 2.5meters wide, 1.5 meters diameter) with soil with the help of excavators.

    Two months later they started to uncover them to see if some parts of them could be still usable, as soon as they were uncovered they burst in flames again.

    No smoke colum at all nor heat was noticed during those two months.
