    New (to me) Band Saw

Well my good bud Larry was watching out for me today He came across a used band saw, a tool I didn't have and wanted. Went with him today to check it out, and put in in the back of my truck and gave it a new home. Not the biggest, baddest, most powerfull out there, but will fill my needs just right Its a Central Machinery 14" 1 HP. Needs a good cleaning, has rust on the table to clean up, throw on a new set of tires and it will be good to go. It sure is going to be a welcome addition to my shop. Thanks again Larry, sure do appreciate it

Congrats, Tom. After you use it a bit, you're going to wonder how you ever got by without a bandsaw.

How DID you get by without a bandsaw????
    Congrats. Good catch.
Some steel wool and vinegar should get rid of that rust easy.

I'd just take my ROS and some 220 grit, wax it and in 5 min your go0d to go.
