I'm looking for a screw box, I want to make some threaded parts, some clamps maybe as well.

I've found >> THIS << one at Woodcraft the box and tap for $37 :dunno:

I know the Beal stuff is good, I have the tap for my lathe, but I'm not really excited about using the router to do this job, routers are messy and dusty and my space is small, if I can get well cut screws that are quiet and not so messy, that seems to be a win-win in my book.

I did find this page........

>> HERE << in the UK that shows the same one as Woodcraft has, but also a better quality unit......

But only in metric, the 19mm unit is 174GBP or about $287 USD plus shipping

Anyone have any other leads?

Cheers!

My experience with Beall tools, I wouldn't even look at any others. I have wanted to buy a beall tap and die just haven't had the right project to justify it. Maybe when I build my workbench and want to make my own vise and wooden screw. ( I just googled tap and dies for wood to get these).
