I took some pictures of my lathe, the stand I made, my first project (a table lamp), and my first try at a bowl.

The 2 projects are made from maple.

Joseph, great timing. I have a student bringing in a 4x4 tomorrow to make his mother a lamp. Will show this to him tomorrow. I have the non VS Jet mini. They make good lathes.

God and family, the rest is icing on the cake. I'm so far behind, I think I'm in first place!

You're off to a fine start, and you have an excellent lathe to take you through the journey into the Abyss.

    Allen,

I don't think I'll get into pen soon. I'm having too much fun with spindles and bowls.

    Happy holidays!
