    Another one out of the way

    This is for a son in law and 7 year old grandson who like cooking together. Mortars are sycamore, pestles and pins are beech with mahogany handles

    wont the finish get worn off in the bowls??? nice rolling pins. how did you get them to roll got bearing inserts or just a dowel running threw the pin area?

    The wood on all of them is just opiled, anything else would end up in the food The handles are fixed. After consultation with the boss when I first made one for her, fixed are better as ones that are on dowels harbour bits between the handles and the pin.

    Thanks for the compliments. I love trying to think of something different to make for the family but it gets harder each year.
