I made these as Christmas presents for my wife. She loves them.

Sierra Pen in Platinum/Black Titanium with .05mm Sierra Pencil conversion in Titanium Gold/Black Titanium. The wood is stabilized curly poplar dyed purple. Wet sanded up to 12000 then buffed with tripoli and white diamond, topped with Ren wax.
I love making wood spin while I poke it with sharp metal objects.

Tim, those are really nice, I can see why they were well received!

Funny the wood is so curly and purple, it almost looks like an acrylic pen

    VERY nice!

Can see why she loves them. Unique combination of skills involved in making those.

I didn't fully read the description, and was gonna make some wise guy remark about the curly purplewood, since I figured it was for sure acrylic. Then I see that it IS wood. Whatever the material, that's a beautiful set.
