Never Seen Them Before

50 yards is enough time for you to slow and let them cross.

Deer season has one more month and Turkey season will be right around the corner.
I had 27 turkeys and 18 doe's out in the field a few weeks ago in front of me. Really cool to watch them working the field together.

It was quite the sight to see turkeys fly...all I have ever seen is those dumb white turkeys...

My daughter is a photographer and she went up to where they were crossing and some flew over her....

for as big of a bird as there are they can fly quite well. imagine walking threw a black berry patch and being chest high in berry prickers and have one go airborn right in frt of you....:eek: after you gather your senses ,yu realize that you just shredded your shirt and britches:rofl:

Always heard how tough those wild turkeys were. My youngest daughter shot a 26 pounder this spring, that was hands down, THE BEST TURKEY I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE! My parents were over, none of us could believe how delicious it was.
