Finally got to Play with the new Mustard!

I haven't been home since I put it all together on Tuesday (12/15), until last night (12/18). I finally got to have some fun. I made a good mess turning a NE apple bowl (man it smells good while turning!).

But apparrently it was getting too late and I was getting tired. I didn't pay attention to where I set the gouge back on the tool rest and BAM The gouge caught the wing of the bowl and destroyed it. Of course I was almost finished just taking the final cuts. Oh well, just some more practice. (Once it broke I was just playing around making a few more curlies, hence the grooves and hole in the middle)

    Way to go Keith!

It is such a smooth machine and you will love it more every time you use it.

Remember the tea kettle - it is always up to its neck in hot water, yet it
