No Jonathan.
The plank on the ship is way narrower. :thumb::rofl::rofl:
Think 2x4 on edge.:rofl::rofl:

Wow
Nice wide boards. Watching with great interest, just got my first plane for xmas and still have to learn how to use it.

I can grantee you don't want to adjust your new plane like my #5 is. :thumb:
And I ain't so sure I am telling what I did to it.:thumb:
There might be some people here that would take my tool card away.:rofl:
As it is Jim all ready give me the dickens for the conduction of my #3:rofl::rofl::rofl:

i can see from the early photos that yu took and made the 5's iron and made it a scrub iron or have both type of irons. my quess is you have both.

Your guess is kinda right. I have 2 irons one for each #5 plane:thumb:
Same with the #3's That one in the pic came home that way after being loaned out. Funny thing is it was on loan to the guy that is paying for the hall tree.:thumb:

Ok waiting for the glue to dry again:rolleyes:
Pic one the dowel jig Could probably use bisects but I'm old school and dowels are the way to go.
2 and 3 opps had a bad knot so I turned this plug from some basswood that was laying around.
pic 4 board warp removal tool.
5 all doweled up ready for clamping
6 Oh no my The 48" clamp is to short what to do what to do?
7 Oh get out the big clamps that's what there 10 foot long.
8, 9 and 10 yet another pesky bad knot this one is only a 1/2"
Where this will end up painted the knot repair is not so important. If this was to be stained I would have used a pine tree branch to make the plugs.
