    Fish tank stand

My Grandson got a new fish tank for Christmas. S Granpa gets the call to build one. It's a 65 gallon tank plus about 30 pounds of rocks for decoration on the bottom. I built it mostly from 2x4s and 3/4" plywood. It should hold at least 900 pounds or more. All he has to do is stain and clear coat it. Used glue and 2 1/2" screws. Also counter boared & pluged all the screws.Attachment 41014

    Sure looks hefty enough

Your workbench looks just like the ones that used to be in my High School shop class. I would love to have one of those.

Great looking stand Ron. Looks like it will be plenty beefy for that size of tank.
